Carlo Sdoya (1914-1996) was a renowned South African visual artist born in Rome, Italy and moved to South Africa in 1947 after WWII. He established and taught at the Da Vinci School of Fine Art in Johannesburg. He enjoyed painting landscapes, still lives and portraits with oils and charcoals as a preferred medium and was an expert with a palette knife. His work is considered to be collectors items to this day and thus a valuable addition to your collection as investment art.
