My artwork celebrates the spirit of “Local is Lekker” by weaving together Pretoria’s beautiful landscape with the people who shape my everyday life. The iconic Union Buildings and lilac jacarandas merge with images of my friends and family — moments of friendship, togetherness, culture, and service. It is both a personal and collective tribute, a reminder that places and people are inseparable. This is a visual homage to the heartbeat of our city: My people are local; my people make it lekker.
