Light Between Two Worlds

This painting explores the theme “Reflections “through the intimate surface of a car side mirror. Rather than simply reflecting the world around it, the mirror becomes a place where light, landscape and perception converge.

The reflected sky and horizon are fragmented by the curved glass, creating an altered version of reality. 

The delicate highlights and droplets across the surface catch and distort the surrounding light, suggesting how memories and experiences can also be fragmented, magnified or changed by our perspective.
